Fibromyalgia candida yeast overgrowth 
              can cause Fibromyalgia symptoms

Sugar really is a huge culprit in our diets, leading to Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth, upsetting balance within our body systems and wreaking havoc on our health.

Sugar tastes good.  It satifies our cravings for sweet, gives us quick energy, improves our moods and makes us feel better, happier, satisfied, or at least that is how we like to think about sugar.

Did you know that the average person in the United States eats over 100 pounds of refined sugar annually?

Too much sugar in our diet can lead to a number of serious health problems including, obesity, diabetes, elevated blood pressure, and causes mood swings.  These are just a few consequences that herald from our "love of sugar".

What happens if you eat too much sugar?

Excessive consumption of sugar in our diet creates imbalance of the delicate flora, friendly bacteria, within our digestive tracks allowing for Fibromyalgia-Candida yeast overgrowth. This imbalance leads to changes in bowel function and the ability for the body to dispose of toxins.

Both refined sugar and concentrated sources of simple sugars, such as in fruit, fruit juice and honey, can negatively impact immune function.  It would follow, that eliminating or reducing refined sugars in the diet would have a beneficial impact on the body's abililty to function by reversing Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth. 

If you have been eating large amounts of sugars, refined and simple, in your diet then you may want to consider restoring balance within your digestive tract.

What happens when the friendly flora and unfriendly flora are out of balance in your intestine, when you have Fibromyalgia candida yeast overgrowth?

Within the gut lives a variety of organisms including bacterias and yeast.  Healthy balance of these organisms is when both the "friendly" and "unfriendly" flora are balanced, in synergy, working together.

Sometimes the flora can be thrown out of balance, allowing the unfriendly flora to dominate - Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth.  This can be due a variety of reasons.  Long term use of antibiotics kills off the good flora and allows the bad flora to dominate.  Prednisone, oral  contraceptives and excessive sugar consumption can all create intestinal bacteria imbalance.

This is called overgrowth of yeast or "Candidiasis" - Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth.  This yeast overgrowth can create a myriad of health problems or aggrevate existing conditions. Candidiasis exhibits symptoms of sugar cravings and fatigue.

You may also see:

* infections of the mouth, vagina, nose and respiratory symptoms

* severe PMS, cramping, bloating

* rashes and acne

* allergies to molds, foods, dust

* increased chemical sensitivity, increased sensitivity to odors  

* chronic bronchitis, sinusitis and other infections

The yeast that takes over in the gut lives off of sugar, thus, the sugar cravings.  The metabolites, that the yeast produce, can lead to leaky gut syndrome that allows undigested food particles, chemical and other substances into the blood.  The presence of these substances in the blood can lead to the symptoms of Fibroymalgia and food allergies.

If you think you may have an imbalance of intestinal flora, Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth, a simple blood test can identify the presence of candiasis.

So, you have been diagnosed as having Candida yeast overgrowth.  Now what should you do?

1. Stop feeding the yeast.

2. Kill the yeast.

3. Restore balance to the gut, by replacing the yeast with friendly flora


So, how do you restore balance?

First you will need to eliminate sugar from your diet.  Remember, Fibromyalgia Candida yeast feeds on sugar.  So, eliminating sugar eliminates its food source, and that means both refined and simple sugars. 

You will also want to cut out vinegars, alcohol, soy and soy products.  These are foods that were made by yeast fermentation. 

This is your starting point.  Don't cheat here, as it will just be self defeating.

Secondly, adding one or more of the following into your daily treatment protocol to assist in killing the Candida yeast.  There are no side effects associated with these products if used properly. 

* Homeopathic remedies (talk with your homeopathic doctor to find the best one for you)

* Colloidal silver

* Garlic

* Grapefruit seed extract

* Glyconutrients

Finally, you will want to replace the friendly flora in your intestines with quality acidophilus and bifidobacteria.  

You can find these bacteria cultures in some yogurts.  Read the label.  If you decide to eat yogurt to replace the bacteria, you will want to eat "unsweetened" yogurt.  Otherwise, you are continuing a vicious cycle. 

If you have a dairy intolerance, then a better option would be to buy quality acidophilus and bifidobacteria.  You will find this in the refrigerated section of your healthfood store.  It must be kept refrigerated.  Check the label to identify how much bacteria the product contains.

How long does this take to correct this condition and are there any side effects?

The overgrowth of candida yeast can take weeks to months to overcome.  It will require comittment on your part, through dietary adjustments and by resupplementing good flora.

During the die-off of the yeast you may or may not experience some side effects called "yeast die-off" reactions.  These die off reactions can be unsettling and discouraging.

Common yeast die-off symptoms may include:

* Brain fog

* Sore throat

* Nausea

* Gas and Bloating

* Diarrhea or Constipation

* Low grade fever

* Fatigue

* Body itch

* Muscle / joint soreness or pain, as if feeling like you are coming down with the flu

In other words, you may feel like your Fibromyalgia symptoms are being exacerbated...fatigue, brainfog, increase in muscle and joint pain.

These yeast die-off symptoms are an indicator of your system being on overload as it eliminates great quantities of toxins from the yeast die off that needs to pass from the body. 

People who have Fibromyalgia candida yeast die off problems often, also, have heavy metal toxicity.

So, what should you do if you do experience die-off symptoms from Fibromyalgia candida?

- Provide you body with the support that it needs to effectively eliminate the toxins from the body.

-Get sufficient sleep to counteract the fatigue you may be experiencing.

- Increase the amount of water you are drinking. Drink 4-6 ounces of hot / warm water every hour to help flush the system.

- Frequent and complete bowel movements are necessary to eliminate toxins in your systems. 

- Increasing consumption of lightly steamed vegetables will increase dietary fiber.

- If your bowels are not moving more that once a day, you will need to encourage more frequent elimination.  A glass of hot / warm water in the morning with, or without, epsom salt may be helpful.

- If necessary you can use an herbal laxative, to help facilitate the movement of the bowels.

- Spend 20 minutes in a sauna.  While in the sauna take a stiff body brush and scrub your skin.  Follow with a shower immediately after.

Try not to be discouraged with the process of rebalancing the flora in your intestinal tract. 

Intestinal health is an important aspect of your overall health.  Taking the time and putting forth the effort to complete this treatment protocol will be well worth it.

In the long run, you will be glad that you made the effort to restore balance and put yourself back on the path to wellness.
